General School Rules - Students
Adherence to school rules ensures a safe and respectful environment where students can thrive academically and socially, fostering a community of responsible behavior and mutual respect.

Regularity in attendance isessential.

The students should be punctual. They should reach school at least 5 minutes before the assembly bell.

Student's diary and books according to the time table must be brought to school every day.

Children should come in proper school uniform. The students shall be neatly and tidily dressed.

Students are strictly not allowed to come in casual dresses on PTM ог any other day. Except only on occasions when they are asked to come They must come in school uniform.

Wearing of jewellery, valuable articles and cosmetics is not permitted.

Students must bring nutritious snacks. Avoid junk food.

Students must stick to the campus language (English).

If any student finds any article belonging to someone else, he/she shall deposit it in the office instantly.

Students should not bring electronic games, cards and toys to the school.

Students should not bring money to school.

All students must seek permission from the school management and obtain a leave pass before leaving the class during lessons.

Bringing expensive stationery (pens, pencils fancy pencil boxes, etc) to school is strictly forbidden.

Students should not carry anything that may cause injury to others.

Loitering around in and outside the school campus during and after the class hours is prohibited.

Students should complete the home work regularly.
Note To Parents
Parents are encouraged to review and discuss the school rules with their children to ensure mutual understanding and adherence to our shared values of respect and responsibility.

Parents must ensure that their wards bring the diary daily to school.

Parents need to attend PTMs to know about their ward's progress.

Besides the PTM, in case you wish to meet any teacher, a prior appointment needs to be sought. you can send a note in the diary for the same.

Kindly contact the School Front Office for any other query. Parents are requested to adhere to the mentioned timings.

Own the school as yours and any problems concerning education of your child be brought to the notice of the class teacher without hesitation.

Parents entering the school must carry the School identity card issued to them. As the security guards are instructed to check the same, please cooperate with them in the interest of the security of children.

All important messages are intimated to parents through the SMS Service including the daily attendance of students.

Parents must read the contents of the Diary Carefully, and abide by the rules laid down.

Parents should review current pages daily and must countersign and respond to any remarks which may be made by the School staff.

It is necessary to fill up the first pages of the Diary. This information is required if the teachers need to get in touch with parents. Any change in address or phone number must be communicated to the class teacher in writing, failing which the School may not be able to inform/consult the parents in case of medical emergency.

Requests for leave must be noted in the diary and attested by the parent/guardian. Absence owing to illness/ any other reason, extending over 3 days should be communicated to the teacher along with a letter/medical certificate.

Parent/guardians are not allowed to see students or meet their teachers during class hours without the permission.

Parents should not insist on any personal religious practices in the school.

Parents are requested not to give very expensive items to their wards.

Parents are requested to ensure that their children maintain personal hygiene like trimming of nails and getting proper hair cut at regular intervals.

Parents and Guardians are requested to read and explain the school rules to their wards.

They should encourage their ward to take balanced interest in studies, cocurricular activities and sports.

If your ward is absent from school, he/she should make up for all work that has been missed by him/her.

Parent's co-operation and involvement are mandatory for the discipline and academic progress of their wards.

Trust your children, and give at least 5 positive strokes to your children every day.
Discipline Policy
To maintain a respectful and productive learning environment, The Scholar School enforces a clear discipline policy. Students are expected to adhere to school rules, promoting mutual respect and responsibility.

Students will move in two lines, with their hands at the back while going for the assembly and during the time of dispersal, along with their class teachers.

Wishing teachers and visitors in class must be done together and in proper manner.

Maintain silence in the library and during lab classes.

Mobile phone and electronic gadgets are not allowed in the school.

Nails must be trim regularly and kept clean.

Shoes must be polished daily.
-
Cleanliness in the classroom should be maintained.

Use of abusive language, quarrelsome behaviour, shouting and whistling is not allowed.

Running in the corridors is not permitted.

During change of period, monitors should maintain the discipline in class.
Bus Rules
Ensure safety and respect by following our bus rules. Remain seated, speak quietly, and listen to the bus driver at all times for a smooth and secure journey.

Arrive at the bus stop earlier than the scheduled bus time.

Stand at least ten feet away from the road.
-
Wait until the school bus stops, the door gets opened and then climb in the bus.
-
Assure that no objects from the bag get caught in the handrails or doors while entering and exiting the bus.

Look for the other vehicles on the road before stepping out the bus.

Always be alert to traffic. Look left, right and then left before crossing the road while getting on or down the bus.
-
Never try to pick up things which are near or under the bus, inform the driver before picking it.
-
Stay in a safe place away from the street while waiting for the school bus.
-
Do not make loud noises that may lead to distract the driver.
-
Keep in mind to cross the road before of the bus instead to cross behind the bus.

Stay seated and sit quietly when you are in the bus.
-
Use the handrail when getting off the bus.
-
Always stay away from the rear wheels of the bus.

Wait for the bus to stop completely and then get up from the seat.

Do not keep head, hands and arms out of the window.

Try to avoid violent or careless behaviour when getting on the bus.

Let the younger children board first.

Do not try to use emergency doors or exit controls without permission from driver.

The students must make sure that the aisle of the bus is clear, school bags and other belongings are placed properly.

No student should travel standing on the footboard.

Students must not move around in the bus when it is in motion.
Medical Aid
The Scholar School prioritizes student health with a fully equipped infirmary and trained medical staff. Immediate care and regular health check-ups ensure the well-being of all students.

A comprehensive annual medical check-up of each child is done by qualified doctors to monitor the child's physical growth. A medical card to record the health status and growth of the child is maintained and a report thereof is sent to the parents for information and necessary action.

First aid treatment is given by a medical team in case of accidents and emergencies.

Parents are informed immediately and may be intimated to take their ward home.

While the school assures all possible precautions and care, the school management will not be responsible for any adverse consequences.
Library Rules
Follow these steps for the library rules at The Scholar School to Ensure you handle all books with care, return them on time, and maintain a quiet, respectful atmosphere to support everyone's learning.

All students of the school are members of the library.

Strict discipline and silence should be observed in the library.

Library books should be taken care of and returned on the due date.

Marking, underlining, writing or damaging pages of the books are strictly prohibited.
-
A clearance certificate is to be obtained from the librarian before applying for Transfer Certificate.
-
Loss of book to be replaced with same book or current cost of book to be paid.
